Clinical nutrition products are administered via a number of routes.   In addition to the oral route, supplements and feeds may be administered via nasogastric (NG) tube, percutaneous endoscopic gastrosomy (PEG) tube, or intravenously (parenteral nutrition).

If you are using oral nutritional products we can advise on the various flavours available.

Clinical Nutrition Products as well as giving sets are may be prescribed under the Community Drug Schemes.

A comprehensive range of gluten free products such as breads, flours, pastas, breakfast cereals etc. are available but may no longer be prescribed under the Community Drug Schemes.  This is as a result of a HSE decision taken at the end of August 2012.

Due to the bulky nature of clinical nutrition products we often deliver them via our free Home Delivery Service.  Please ask a member of our pharmacy team for further details.
