What is a Blood Clot?
The medical name for a clot that starts in a vein is a venous thromboembolism (VTE). There are two types – a deep vein thrombosis (DVT), which usually starts in a deep vein in the leg; and a pulmonary embolism (PE) which happens when a DVT breaks away and gets trapped in a blood vessel in the lungs.
The bus will be in Wexford on Tuesday September 10th, 2019
The bus will be on the Quay from 9am to 12pm and will be outside Wexford General Hospital from 1pm to 4pm
