Motilium

Motilium is used to treat nausea and vomiting.

Active Ingredient

Each tablet contains 1omg of Domperidone  as the active ingredient.  Please see product packaging for a full list of other ingredients.  Each pack contains 10 tablets.

Who can use Motilium?

Motilium can be used by adults and children aged 12 years and over weighing over 35kg.  Do not take Motilium if you have any underlying heart or liver condition.  If you purchase it, we will check that it is safe to use with any other medicines you may be using.

Dose

Adults and children aged over 12 years – take one tablet up to three times daily for a maximum of 3 days.  Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.  Please consult your doctor if your symptoms do not improve.

Side Effects

The most common side effect is dry mouth.  Please see patient information leaflet for a full list of known side effects.

Pregnancy or Breastfeeding

Consult your doctor before using if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Storage

Store Motilium tablets below 30ºC and remember to keep all medicine out of sight and reach of children. You should return any unused or date expired medicines to your pharmacist for safe destruction.
