Description

Colpermin

Colpermin is used to treat the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).  Symptoms of IBS include discomfort, colic and bloating.

Active Ingredient

Each capsule contains 187mg of Peppermintm Oil as the active ingredient.  Please see product packaging for a full list of other ingredients.  Each pack contains 20 capsules.

Who can use Colpermin?

Colpermin can be used by adults and children aged 15 years and over.

Dose

Adults and children aged over 15 years – take one capsule three times daily.  Take 30-60 minutes before food with a small quantity of water.   Swallow the capsule whole – do not break or chew it.  If discomfort is more severe you may increase the dose to two capsules three times daily.

Reported side effects include nausea and vomiting.  Please see patient information leaflet for a full list of known side effects.

Pregnancy or Breastfeeding

Consult your doctor before using if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Storage

Store Colpermin capsules below 25ºC and remember to keep all medicine out of sight and reach of children. You should return any unused or date expired medicines to your pharmacist for safe destruction.
