Canesten Cream 1%
Canesten Cream 1% is used to treat fungal infections including fungal nappy rash, ringworm and athlete’s foot. It can also be used to treat irritation of the penis or vulva caused by thrush.
Who is this medicine for
This medicine can be used by adults and children.
How to use Canesten Cream 1%
Wash your hands before and after use. Apply a thin film of Canesten Cream 1% to the affected areas twice or three times a day. You should continue to use the cream for at least 2 weeks.
Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the active ingredients. If you feel that the product is not working or if your symptoms are getting worse please check with your doctor or pharmacist.
Pregnancy and Breast Feeding
You should avoid this medicine during the first trimester (three months) of pregnancy. Check with your doctor for all other times during pregnancy. We also advise against using Canesten Cream 1% if you are breastfeeding.
Containt Clotrimazole 1% w/w as the active ingredient. The other ingredients are benzyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, cetyl palmitate, octyldodecanol and purified water. Pack size 20g.
How to store Canesten Cream 1%
Do not store above 25°C. Do not use the product after the expiry date marked on the pack. Keep all medicines out of reach of children and remember to return all unused or out of date medicines to your pharmacy for safe disposal.
