Difflam Spray is used to relieve painful inflammation of the mouth and throat.

Who is this medicine for?

This medicine can be used by adults and children.

How to use Difflam Spray

Apply to the affected area every one and a half to three hours.  Adults and over 12s should use 8 puffs while children aged between 6 and 12 years should use four puffs.  Children under 6 should use one puff per 4kg of body weight up to a maximum of 4 puffs.  Do not use for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor.    You may need to spray the pump into the air a few times before first use to prime it.

Precautions

Do not use Difflam Spray if you are allergic to any of the active ingredients.  If you feel that the product is not working or if your symptoms are getting worse please check with your doctor or pharmacist.  Possible side effects include numbness and a stinging feeling in the mouth.

Pregnancy and Breast Feeding

If you are pregnant of breast feeding, you should check with your doctor before using Difflam Spray.

Contains Benzydamine Hydrochloride 0.15% w/v as the active ingredient.  Please see product packaging for a full list of other ingredients.  Pack size 30ml.

How to store Difflam Spray

Do not store  Difflam Spray above 25°C.  Do not use the product after the expiry date marked on the pack.  Keep all medicines out of reach of children and remember to return all unused or out of date medicines to your pharmacy for safe disposal.
