Description
Amflee combo is a spot-on solution for use in dogs against infestations of fleas alone or in association with ticks and/or biting lice. It comes in various strengths and the dose given depends on the weight of the dog.
The pack contains 3 separate doses.
Dose
The dose is one pipette of varying strengths depending on the size of the dog.
2kg – 10kg: 1 pipette of 0.67ml containing 67mg Fipronil/60.3mg S-Methoprene
10kg – 20kg: 1 pipette of 1.34ml containing 134mg Fipronil/120.6mg S-Methoprene
20kg – 40kg: 1 pipette of 2.68ml containing 268mg Fipronil/241.2mg S-Methoprene
Greater than 40kg: 1 pipette of 4.02ml containing 402mg Fipronil/361.8mg S-Methoprene
We recommend repeating this dose every 4 to 8 weeks for best results.
Method of Administration
1. Remove pipette from its packaging. Twist and pull the cap off while holding pipette in an upright position.
2. Turn the cap around and put the other end of the cap back on the pipette. Push and twist the cap to break the seal, then remove the cap from the pipette.
3. Apply to the skin at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades.
4. Part the coat until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette onto the skin and squeeze the contents completely and directly onto the skin in one spot.
Additional advice and precautions
Not recommended for use in puppies less than 8 weeks old and/or weighing less than 2kg.
Avoid bathing/immersion in water of the animal within 2 days of application of product.
Ensure the product is applied to an area where the animal cannot lick it off and it should be ensured that animals do not lick each other following treatment.
Children should not be allowed to play with treated animals until application site is dry.
When administering the product, avoid contact of the product with mouth, skin and eyes as irritation may occur.
Always wash your hands after use.
