Drontal Tasty Bone Tablet for Dogs
Drontal Tasty Bone is a flavoured bone shaped tablet used to treat roundworms and tapeworms commonly found in dogs and puppies. It was formerly called Drontal Plus.
Dose
The recommended dose is 1 tablet for every 10kg of bodyweight given orally. Drontal Tasty Bone tablets are scored for ease of halving. There is no need to fast your dog before giving Drontal Tasty Bones. Adult dogs should be routinely treated every 3 months. If you are unsure of your dog’s weight you can check our handy weight guide here. Puppies should be treated at 2 weeks of age and then every 2 weeks until they are 3 months of age.
It is important that you do not give this medicine to your dog if they are receiving other medicines containing piperazine. If your bitch is pregnant, please consult your veterinary surgeon before use.
Each Drontal Tasty Bones tablet contains 50mg of praziquantel, 144mg of pyrantel embonate an 150mg of febantel in addition to 116.5mg of artficial beef flavour.
